Difference Between A Blog and a Website
What is the difference between a blog and a website? Not much. A blog is nothing more than a type of website supported by a content management system that provides a useful collection of features. The main differences would be that a blog is a series of posts that organized chronologically, with the most recent at the top of the page. Each post has a title and a body. There are links to see all the posts by category and there are also links to see posts by month published. And finally there is an RSS or similar feed on a blog. A traditional website would have a navigation bar, some type of graphic near the top, and it will most likely consist of many pages that aren't just a feed of posts by the administrator. For example Facebook isn't just a feed of posts by friends and family, it links to games, can send messages, etc. But recently the gap between a blog and a website has been closing. Most websites nowadays contain a blog. And most blogs can now embed videos and other stuff.
